My pilgrimage went as planned. A peaceful road traveled to the town of Lisieux, France. I have a few special places, but the Basilica built in honor of St Therese of Lisieux, truly amazing.
Life is all about choices. St. Therese of Lisieux, the little flower, chose to give her life to God at age 15. She lived each day with an unshakable confidence in God’s love.
“What matters in life,” she wrote, “is not great deeds, but great love.”
The path I take with life remains solid. The path has some loose rocks to where I trip. The path offers detour trips along the way for an adventure within the adventure of life. I meet new friends on the path. The path continues to guide and provide.
Along my path, I have received so many blessings in all areas of my life – I have no choice but to share it in some way, for my heart is filled with love to give. The path introduced me to Father Muggagga, and now a lifetime of helping the children of our world. My heart opens with love to provide a child a chance at life. A hand-up from hand they were dealt. Hope for Hearts is one of my great loves, one that allows my heart to sing and shine.
Remember, no matter the path you are on, embrace the path for what it brings. Life is a journey – not a performance to please others.
“On the day of my conversion Charity entered into my heart and with it a yearning to forget self always; thenceforward I was happy.” – St. Therese of Lisieux
Peace, love & wear comfy shoes, the path is long ☺
